My passion

Unleashing your full potential and authentic leadership is my passion. I’m on a mission for people to listen to their bodies’ intelligence.

When being is conscious of itself—that’s presence.

Eckhart Tolle

My approach

I use physical activities and embodied learning to build individual and team awareness of hidden habits. Movement creates memory for lasting change.

Our bodies shape our minds, our minds shape our behaviors and our behaviors shape our outcomes.

Amy Cuddy

My story

20+ years experience preparing executives for moments in the spotlight. From TV reporter to corporate communications expat to entrepreneur. I know first hand—

If you can dream it, you can do it.

Walt Disney

Passionate about supporting leaders and teams to be at their best

I’ve worked with 200+ leaders of all cultures across pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, logistics, consumer product industries and academia. As a certified executive coach, I support leaders to build self awareness of their leadership presence, make a choice about how they want to show up and then get into action on becoming the leader they want to be.

I develop quick trust with busy leaders who then trust me with their teams to help build community, safety, trust and new ways of working. Together, we transform how they lead and how their team delivers on business goals.

My specialty is embodied and experiential learning. I use physical activities to provide deeper insights and visibility to hidden patterns. This builds awareness and change using the entire human system beyond thinking and dialogue. When we listen, the body never lies. My creative workshops blend my passions for improvisation, agility games, conscious embodied exercises and nature – to deliver lasting change.  If you want real results, then I’m your change partner.

I understand what it takes to be in the spotlight

Any friend would say that I live to set goals and achieve them. I’m intentional and have built my life on purpose rooted in my values of integrity and community. I’ve taken leaps with failures and successes. I turn my setbacks into steps forward. I understand what it takes to put yourself out there, work in large matrix organizations and be brave when you don’t feel it. I learned owning my story is where it all starts.

What shaped my journey to today

Section

I grew up on a chicken farm in the heart of the USA (in the outskirts of Minneapolis, Minn). I played in the pine trees, had to weed the garden and sewed my own clothes. Financial aid helped me stretch my comfort zone and leap to a private college in the heart of downtown Milwaukee in the USA. I studied to work in TV news born from a childhood of acting and singing on stage. Singing the American national anthem for 16,000 people at several college basketball games taught me how to manage fear.

From the start, my career was my greatest teacher. I was almost fired from my first job and miraculously landed next as a TV anchor and reporter. I often reported live standing in front of Lambeau Field (home of the Green Bay Packer football team).

Exhausted from the inauthenticity of being a celebrity in a small town, I started my second career as an intern at a global public relations agency. I rose the ranks by landing big media coverage for global consumer brands (Coca-Cola, Siemens, 3M). In the economic downturn before 9/11, I was laid off. It pushed me to start my MBA and I landed a University of Minnesota job promoting faculty research to help get my degree for free. This launched my corporate track working on change and issues management and product communications at United Healthcare and Medtronic.

I achieved the American dream of owning my own home. I’m now handy with electrical, siding and woodworking skills. I learned to swim to compete in triathlons. My next goal was living and working abroad. Not knowing anyone outside the US, it was a miracle when I was recruited for a job on the other side of the world. My fourth international flight ever was a one-way ticket moving to Basel, Switzerland. For eight years, I working at Novartis and Roche doing pharma and diagnostics, change, executive and thought leadership communications. I then consciously turned my career to do what I loved most—partnering with great leaders to transform teams and support them to show up at their best.
